getting to Krabi airport from Koh Phi Phi

Hello,

We'll be staying at one of the resorts (not in Tonsai Village) on Koh Phi Phi and have two flight options:

11:30 AM or 8:30 PM out of Krabi airport

From what I've read, it seems difficult (impossible?) or at least stressful to get from the resort to Tonsai for the ferry to Krabi to the airport in time for an 11:30 AM flight, but I was just wondering if anyone can confirm this?

I'm guessing it would be possible to arrange a private ferry option through the hotel, but I'm guessing that would be very expensive.

Another option is to stay in Tonsai Village our last night and leave directly from there to the airport. Would that make is any more feasible to get to the airport in time for an 11:30am flight (i'm guessing we'd have to be at the airport by 9:30 or so)?

I would never be on an island if I had to catch a flight in the morning.
I always stayed at Krabi town the night before leaving Krabi.
There is enough there to have a pleasant evening.

Even rough seas can stop the boats from operating.

You can risk it, but IMO you'd be barking to try.
