Is there a bus connection ? And if so, will I be able to go on the ferry to Koh phayam?

There are buses going along the highway regularly. The park is a few kilometers from the highway , you can go out to the highway anytime of day and catch any long distance bus . You will have to change buses at Takua Pa most likely. Very long way so most likely you will get to Ko Payam (Phayam) on the next day. Road journey is scenic though. As well as Ko Payam you can also go to the nearby island of Little Ko Chang if you haven't already been there- its possible to get boat to Payam from Chang without having to go back to the mainland.
