#2, are you farking serious? get over yourself.

mandja, again, who cares about world soccer. if we only played games that were important to world soccer, we'd never have new teams on the horizon. pretty silly way to look at it really. there's a reason football is the world's most popular sport.

I actually watched it and I have to say it was entertaining enough by SE Asian standards. (Still I'm happy we were spared extra-time. :) )

#6 Looks like Singapore had a bunch of ringers, whereas all the Thai players appeared to be Thai. While I realize that Singapore is an international city, I'm wondering how many of their players are dual citizens who play for the National team because they're not good enough to make it in Europe or even Africa (or maybe they're just paid more)? Anyways, I think that explains how a country with such a small population can go up against a much larger country and be competitive.

Why would you refer to me as crazy body hair?

Did you mean khun bah?

wayne, 5 days ago the thai players walked off the pitch and refused to play for 15 minutes because they had a penalty awarded against them. Hence my correct comment about them behaving like little kids who didnt deserve to win.

Bruce you can't have dual citizenship in Singapore. However you can be eligable to play for a country under very flexible rules such as having a parent born there etc. Many countries do it. Especially ones as small as Singapore that has a tiny 'pure' population.
