Ferry to Phi Phi (from Phuket) - Where to get supplies, tickets?

Hello there,
We will be flying to Phuket (arriving at 11:00) and then taking the 13:30 ferry to Phi Phi (staying at the Holiday Inn at Laem Tong Beach).

We'll have a bit of time before our ferry leaves, so I'm wondering the following:

  • Beer - I understand it's cheaper to bring beer with us from Phuket as opposed to buying it in Phi Phi. Is there a store near the Rasada Pier where we could purchase beer, soft drinks, etc?
  • Restaurant - is there a restaurant near the Rasada Pier to enjoy a lunch before hopping on the ferry?
  • I understand that tickets may be cheaper in town than at the ferry terminal. Is there somewhere along the way we can have our taxi driver stop to buy ferry tickets? I understand they should cost around 300 THB one way.

You stay Holiday Inn (only Zeavola is more expensive) and you want to prat about carrying beer from Rasada to save a few baht? Hmmmmmmmmm.

Yes there is a store, Yes there is a restaurant, sort of, No the tickets aren't cheaper in town.

One shouldn't associate staying in nice places with a willingness to overpay.

I'm staying at the Holiday Inn because I have hotel points, not because I'm paying tens of thousands of baht a night. Thanks for the advice on the store, and the food options - very helpful.
