I love breakfast at the Dubliner, but we only go on the weekend so I don't know if they serve it during the week also.
Oddly, Kevin, I don't either. I probably eat at Mickie D's 10 times more when in foreign countries and I just gotta have a burger. It used to be one of the only places you could get a fair cuppa coffee; glad to see BKK has embraced the wonderful flavors of a good cup of coffee.

I wouldn't eat Mcdonalds in the US either. It's probably the worst Mcdonalds food in the world.

Ok, so it's not on Sukhumvit but it's only a quick BTS ride away. I went to the Irish Xchange for the "Full Fry" breakfast and it was quite good although expensive. I'm not Irish but my travel companion was, so he had to get a proper fry in him. He said the potato bread wasn't exactly authentic but otherwise he gave the fry his seal of approval.

Irish Exchange is exactly the same as the Dubliner - both built on boiler room scammer money which is why I try to avoid those odious places.

E_T: What is boiler room scammer money. Where are the good deals then? I know you are familiar w/ the non-Thai places. Thanks.
Up near Bumrunrad on Soi 1 is the Elephin cafe which is not bad for coffee and eggs, but they don't know about the rest of a western b-fast. OK Thai food, she says.

Boiler rooms were very popular here in the 80's and 90's and are still on the go to some extent, ripping off Aussie pensioners and seperating them from their fortunes.
The term boiler room in business refers to a busy center of activity, often telemarketing or other types of sales. It typically refers to a room where tele-marketers work, often selling stocks, and using unfair, dishonest sales tactics, sometimes selling fraudulent stocks.
