Hello, I'm going island-hopping down the Andaman coast for a couple of weeks in late Jan/early Feb. I want to visit one of the Trang islands for a couple of days. I just want to spend time on a quiet island where I can chill by a beautiful beach and go swimming. Currently I'm leaning towards Ko Ngai, but also considering Ko Kradan and Ko Mook - could anyone let me know which of these has good beaches for swimming (i.e. calm water, pretty, not too many rocks)?
Thanks :)
Any would be fine. Ngai and Kradan have some coral in the shallows which could be an obstacle at low tides, but you can just walk five minutes down the beach to a stretch where there is no coral, if that it a concern.
Kradan is most beautiful, but gets busy with day trippers 10am-4pm. Muk (Charlie beach) is a less beautiful beach, but has no coral, so is good for swimming. Ngai is mid-way.

Ko Kradan is expensive resort island unless you camp. Another thing about Farang Beach (Charlie's Beach) on Ko Mook is that some find the concrete resort development there intrusive and ugly.
