Ban Tai sucks, totall agreed. More specifically, "Cosy Bungalows" (sic) which was my boot camp for one week - prebooked (yes, I'm one daft bugger, still a little wiser!) while still in BKK. Moved up to Chaloklum after that and settled down in a Coconut Beach bungalow in Haad Khom. Absolutely terrific.
