Thanks everyone.
Does anybody know how far kho sok national park is from koh samui and is it worth spending a day/night there before heading back to BKK?

Thanks everyone.

Khao Sok is amazing, and really only a few hours from Samui, but if you only have 5 nights in Thailand I probably wouldn't go to more than just one place - the time spent traveling won't make it worthwhile. Best just stick to one spot to settle in and relax!

Thanks. will save it for another time.
Anybody happen to know of a nice beach hut/bunglow right on the beach? (other than New hut and nikkis-sold out)
I spent 2 1/2 days on Koh Chang last Christmas when I unexpectedly had a bit of extra time in Bangkok. It's quite small and there's not a great deal to do other than hang around the pool/beach. It's not as commercial as Koh Samui - yet. For a brief beach visit it's great but I wouldn't want to stay much longer than I did. I stayed a few km's from White Sands in a small hotel which was very peaceful and suited me perfectly. For the music, shops and bars, White Sands is popular but too busy for me.
