8 nights to split between Krabi/Phi Phi/Phuket

Hi there,

From Mid November (post coming from Koh Phang Nah after FMP) me and my mate will be heading west...

I have 8 nights to split between Krabi (Ao Nang), Phi Phi and Phuket

My original plan was 2 in Krabi and 3 each in the other two.

However, i've heard that Phuket isnt great and accom hard to come by on phi phi.

Looking for a mix of scenery and party

What would everyone suggest?

This seems a bit rushed, 2-3 nights in each place is not much if you really want to get a feel for the place. You should think about splitting this into 2 or just spending the entire 8 night in one spot.

I personally don't like Phi Phi or Phuket as they are a bit too touristy for my liking. But many people love them. Best advice is to see for yourself and lot listen to what others think.

An alternative to Phi Phi is Koh Lanta.

Well, party is the keyword for Phuket. If you want peacefulness though, there are certain parts of Phuket which are not too touristy. Krabi, Koh Lanta, Phi Phi have by far better beaches so if that is what you want, spend less in Phuket.

Phi Phi is a must for me as it looks beautiful and too many people i know say its a 'must do'. Also need to go phuket as meeting a friend and flying out there to Chiang Mai
