What do you guys think about Santhiya Resort? Is that close to Phuket and the area you were recommending? I think I agree with you guys saying Phuket probably has a bit more variety and the beautiful beaches. Thanks again guys!

I only know of Santhiya at Thong Nai Pan which is on the east coast of Koh Phangan, it's really incredibly beautiful, it's a bumpy ride to get there, and it's not close to any of the night spots or shopping etc, but perfect for a honeymoon.

Santhiya Resort is on Koh Phangan - basically on the opposite coast from Phuket. There are no direct flights to Koh Phangan so you would fly to Koh Samui and then take a ferry or speedboat to get there.
Based on my look at Santhiya Resort pricing you could basically pick any 'resort' and be that price or less. (Le Meridien, Sheraton, Marriott, Banyan Tree, etc. at any of those spots would be nice honeymoon spots)
