My girlfriend and I will be traveling to Thailand for the first time for only 10 days from May 19th-29th of this year.
We have a completely open itinerary and we want to go to where we can take advantage of our time as wise as possible.
We would love to see Bangkok and then some beach area.

A typical trip for first timers would be Bangkok, Chiang Mai and a beach. For a beach you could get a flight to Surat Thani and head to any of the gulf islands. Read about them and see which one appeals to you, not a stranger.
