Hey everyone!

I am 23 years old from the US looking to travel through as much of SE Asia as I can between January and February 2019. I am thinking about buying a lot pass through stray Asia that covers all transportation and lets you hop on and off the route (Thailand - Laos - Cambodia - Vietnam) whenever you want. Message me if you are a female traveler interested in traveling around the same time!

Hi all! Have a grand tour of Cambodia planned for the month of January. Have used the LP Cambodia book exclusively. We are leaving Secret Paradise Resort on Koh Rong sanloem Jan 21 and heading to Battambang per the 4 week itinerary listed in the book. Initially looked at Chambok commune but found Chi Phat and now I am struggling. Which would you do? Can you get from Chi Phat to Battambang in one day? Can you get from Chambok Commune to Battambang in one day? How long will it take to…

Hi folks

I'm planning to spend around 2.5 weeks in Vietnam in March with my mother. I really want to experience Northern Vietnam with it's karst mountains, forests and culture. My mother is a seasoned traveller but tires easily so I do not want to spend the whole trip travelling between places. I would like some advice on a round trip from Hanoi which doesn't mean day after day of long bus rides, and I'm not too keen on internal flights.

I've seen many itineraries which include the far…

I've been reading a lot of blogs about traveling in Myanmar but they eventually turn me off when they mention tours and guides and expensive hotels. I wanna know if I can travel by myself, doing the main stuff like Mandalay, Bagan, Yangon and Hpa An on a 25 dollar daily budget including everything.

Also, is it posible to squeeze the golden rock or Bago on my way from Yangon to Hpa An? Can't find buses schedules anywhere.

Thanks

Hello all,

We have a plane ticket to Bangkok on January 8th. We also would like to see all the places listed in the subject line but we're struggling which directions we should go and when. We have about 3.5 months to see all of this. After that we head to the Philippines, Bali and then Australia.

We've been researching what we want to see but are coming up against how we go about seeing these countries. What are the best routes and how should we get to each place. Looking for any and all…

Hello!

I'm planning 9 and a half months in Asia next year and I'd like your input on my itinerary.
I want to see architecture, discover the culture and would like to avoid party places (You'll see that some countries I wrote down are famous for their parties but I would avoid Vang Vieng in Laos for example).

So here it is:

November to December : India
January : Sri Lanka
February : Northern Thailand (Issan, sukhotai, lopburi, etc)
March : Myanmar
April : Northern Vietnam (Sapa, Ha giang, Ha long…

We are going to travel by bus to Nakhon Phanom, Thailand and then to Thakhek Laos crossing the Friendship bridge. Can we get the 30 day visa directly at the bridge? We are both EU citizens. Is the Greenclimbers Home still open for the rock climbers? Thanks so much.
