I'm heading to Myanmar late this February and I'm in need of information by those who been there. I'm looking at places like Ngapali or Nwe Saung beach to go scuba diving. Because of time and itinerary issues, I won't have time to head South towards Dawei and Myeik.

Have booked a 7 night Pandaw cruise "Pagan to Mandalay Packet" 04/01/2020 to 11/01/2020. My itinerary so far is 3 nights in Yangon, fly to Bagan for 2 nights. Sunrise balloon flight on second day, then the cruise.

Disembark boat on 11/01/2020. From here maybe t two nights Mandalay? Fly to Ngapali Beach four nights.

Fly home via Yangon.

What's your opinion of this? I was wondering about Inle Lake…

I have flown AirAsia many times but never with checked luggage. Last week I had a flight with a friend, she had not paid for her checked luggage before arriving at the airport and the fee was quite large. Yesterday I booked a flight from Chiang Mai to Mandalay. The flight goes via Bangkok. When I paid I was charged the luggage fee twice. When I contacted AirAsia they told me my luggage will be on two planes, so there is two charges. Wondering if any of you peeps have been to and stayed by the coast. We are considering it in our itinerary ( when I went to Cambodia before I moved around the interior). Sihanoukville looks awful, like a glamourized Benidorm. Are there any places on the coast you can get to from Sihanoukville Airport that are quiet, on the coast and offer a Cambodian experience rather than an imported one?

Hello everyone. I decide to travel in Myanmar (Burma) in the end of Nov. or early Dec. My first place in Myanmar is Yangon and then I will go Pyay by bus and then will go to Mrauk U by bus in Pyay.

Do I must buy the bus ticket, Yangon(via Pyay) to Mrauk U, in Aung Mingalar Highway Bus Station? If yes, how can I guarantee to use the same ticket to get on a bus to Mrauk U in Pyay at these couple days ? My family and I are in Koh Toa right now and heading to Myanmar where we will need malaria protection (along with some parts of Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Maybe Philippines and Indonesia). My husband went into a pharmacy and asked if they have pills and they said no. Only the hospital has injections. I'm confused. No where online does it talk about injections for malaria. Is this a thing only in Thailand?

Also, I read I should have bought them before I left so bad me. What should we do…

We are hoping to go to Angkor Wat on November 9th 2019. I read similar threads about public holidays but both were locked by the moderator and both had no updates closer than six years ago.
It's my significant others birthday on that day so I thought it would be a perfect way to spend her 40th birthday. However its also Independence Day.

Help! Following the 4 week itinerary. Need info on how to get to battambang from kirirom. Do we have to go through PP or is there another route as the map on page 25 seems to suggest?
