Hello,

Im planning on travelling from nanning to Hanoi in June, I have an evisa. I have just discovered that the train isn't an option because it passes through dong dang, not Huu nghi. Does anyone know if it's possible to get a bus from nanning to Hanoi that crosses at the huu nghi border?

Cheers

Hi

My husband and I are planning a trip to phu quoc in March next year.
We’ll be coming via 3 nights in Singapore (from the uk) and hoping to stay on phu quoc island.
Because we’re doing the city break on the way, we want to stay accommodation wise in one place but I’m really hoping we could do day trips to other places.
I’ve had a look into this and can’t seem to find any way to get to HCMC within a day but can get the fast boat to Ha Tien.

Does anyone know where else we could get to on a day…

Visa ?

Hi - we're UK nationals and plan to enter Vietnam by air and as we're there only 10 days won't need a visa. We're then going by land to Cambodia (Siem Reap) before flying back to Ho Chi Minh city to get a connecting flight back to London. The flight from Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh is on Vietnam airways as is the onward flight to London. As we're in transit at Ho Chi Minh i didn't think we'd need a visa but I've read some threads which say we won't be able to get on the flight in Siem Reap without…

Hi,
My friend and I have just arrived in Dalat and are staying for five days. we're hoping to visit sights such as pongour waterfalls, Lak lake, Elephant waterfalls, etc but don't really want to pay for the full tours. We have heard you can hire a car for the day and were wondering if anyone else is around and would like to join?

Hello everyone!

I have the opportunity of spending june and july in either Hanoi or Saigon, which do you think has the better weather?
From my research I know that Hanoi is hot, and Saigon is rainy, but I would like to know how to affects life on a day to day basis.

I see there are a lot of companies offering day tours to Bach Ma National Park from Hue. Any recommendations on which to use or not use? Do they all follow pretty much the same route/itinerary?

I looked at a couple of them, and from the little bit of information provided it sounds like they drive you to the highest point, where you get out and then do some walking. Anyone know how far you hike during the day, and how difficult it is?

Is anyone familiar with any multi-day hikes in Vietnam that do not involve trekking in the mountains? In other words, a long hike that might go from one city to the next. Hanoi to Saigon is too much obviously so I'm looking for something more realistic. A hike that would take anywhere from 2-7 days. And ideally with no guide.

So to be clear, I'm not looking to trek through the maintains with a guide like people to in Sapa. Instead I'm looking for a hike from one city/town/village to another.

Hello, i will be travelling to sapa and will likely reach sapa on 09 June 2018. i hope to do a 1 day hike up to fansipan and get down before sunset on 10 Jun 2018. it seems you must have a guide to hike up there and will probably have to engage one from the travel agency.

i am looking around here to see if anybody will also be going on the same date? any tips for a cheap guide?

Can anyone confirm if there is a post office in Tan Son Nhat Airport?

Various webpages say that there is either a post office, or that the information desk can send letters and postcards, but the airport's official website (which is pretty bare bones) does not give any information about it.

See: http://www.ho-chi-minh-city-sgn.airports-guides.com/sgn_airport_facilities.html

I have a rather long international transfer there and thought I might send a card or two.
