I will be in Nha Trang, coming from Hue in August and wanted to plan out my next destination after Nha Trang. I was thinking of checking out Dalat but know that there isn't a train that does this route. What's the best and most convenient way to get from Nha Trang to Dalat. I'm mostly inquiring about time and cost, since we don't have a lot of money and are tight on time. After Dalat, I was going to head down to Saigon. Again, what's the best and most convenient…

Does anybody have any info on travelling in Vietnam when pregnant? I may be up to 5 months pregnant when we go. Do I need to take malaria prophylaxis for travel to Hanoi and Halong Bay?

I've been looking at mixing trains with buses throughout Vietnam, since I don't think my budget will allow me to travel by train completely. But unfortunately there seem to be mixed feelings towards buses in general here on TT and over on travelfish. But these are, to my understanding, the tourist backpacker 'open' buses?

Hi - can anyone recommend a good spot to sit and have dinner and enjoy the sights/atmosphere of the Hoi An full moon lantern festival that's on tomorrow night? I'd wondered about the Cargo Club. Any other suggestions?
