I'm preparing my 4 weeks trip to Vietnam next October and I'm a little stuck in the North itinerary. I've read a lot of info here, LP guide and other places but it's not easy to fit for me, maybe due to want to be at many places in no more that 10-11 days.
I'd like to go to Halong, Sapa, Mai Chau and Tam Coc, and of course, Hanoi. My main problem it's to avoid several stops of one night in Hanoi going from one place to others.

I am planning a family trip (2 adults and a 4,5-year-old child) for 4 months to Vietnam, Cambodja, and Laos,
We are buying a return flight ticket 4 months after our departure, can that be a problem when arriving in Vietnam, since we are applying for a 3-month visa ?
We then will be visiting Cambodia and Laos and return to Vietnam to catch the flight back home (applying for another visa to get in Vietame since our first visa already expired).

We would like to visit Yen Tu in november, but I can't find much information about to get there.
Is it possible to go there by bus in the morning from Hai Phong or Ha Long and then go to Hanoi the same day in the evening ?
Is there a place where we can safely leave our luggage during the day ?

My daughter and I are planning to visit HCMC and Mekong Delta, Vietnam in November. I don't have many chances to travel so I wanna seize this chance to enjoy as much as possible. We'll land in HCMC and move to Mekong Delta. We intend to spend 2 days in HCMC, then explore Mekong Delta. But I have no idea about the weather of Mekong Delta in November. Is it in flood season? On our Vietnam trip we won't miss the Ha Long Bay boat trip? How many days would you recommend?
3 days and 2 nights or are 2 days and 1 night enough ? Does the agency pick yuo up in Hanoi ?
Can you recommend me a local agency ? After the trip we would like to fly to Hue.
