hey guys, will go to vietnam next month! got some questions:
1. i only got a cirrus debit card, so no creditcard or traveller checks, am i going to be able to get money there with it?
2. if not, how do you recommend to get money there, just take dollars for a few weeks with me or somethin'?
3. can you get a visa from laos or camodia, or is it better (cheaper / less hassle) to get it in thailand? How much will it cost me for the different options? Ill only need a few weeks visa.

1) No problems, there are ATMs in all the bigger towns in VN that will readily dispense from a 'cirrus' card

2) Many people take USD with them as 'back-up'

3) Dunno.

You can get a visa in Cambodia. Mine was US$35 and took about 10 minutes to process. That was in Sihanoukville.
