I'll be traveling to Vietnam for 2 weeks with my girlfriend in early November or December, we haven't decided yet, our plan is to do Cambodja for 1 month either before or after Vietnam.
So, what is there to do and see? We're mostly after relaxing and taking it easy, no rush. We would like to see the citylife, countrylife, the nature, experience the culture and eat some really good food, perhaps a beach and a cooling dip. Is there any good diving in Vietnam? We would like to avoid the biggest tourist armies. Any tips are welcome, where to go, how long to stay and so on.

Two things I would do...first, read up on the two countries.Guide books, websites, past posts on here....if you ask some specific questions (after having done research) you will get much more useful answers.

Second,I'd consider changing your timeframe to at least 50-50.3 weeks is a fairly good minimum time to see Vietnam the traditional way....south to north,or vice versa.

In Vietnam for 2 weeks, you can visit from the north to the south such as Hanoi, Halong, HCMC, Mekong Delta
