Hello

Need a little help here pls, me and my friends are flying from London to Bangkok then to Vietnam, straightaway after we landed then gonna be making our way back to Bangkok after two weeks in Vietnam (we're just gonna kinda wing it as part of experience) . So I would like to ask which is the best way to get back to Thailand from Vietnam other than plane?

Many Thanks

obviously it depends where you start your return from in Vietnam but the only option you have is bus/mini van/share taxi (not direct by any means) crossing either Cambodia or Laos

It would probably cost more by bus than it would to fly, and would take much longer. If you have the time, it's fine. Here is what I found.
– travel by bus from Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok can take about 29-34 hours
– bus ticket price is about $35 – 40
– bus companies – Mekong Express (limousine or VIP bus)
book and buy bus e-tickets from Ho Chi Minh to Bangkok on Baolau

I do not know mekong express but generally it is not a good idea to buy cross border bus tickets unless the bus it self is going all the way which this one almost certainly will not.

Not sure why one would do the trip in one by bus if you were then I would have thought the idea would be to stop en-route
