We had a thread some time ago dealing with this subject: lousy hotels in Hanoi, where they kick you out when you refuse to book a trip with them, and give you rooms unfit even for dogs.
There was a certain organisation which seemed to be nothing short from a bunch of crooks. Brothers something?

I think you might be refering to TM Brothers. There have been a number of complaints and warnings about them.
If you put 'TM Brothers ' into the search engine there are quite a few threads that come up, I'm sure you'll find the one you are after.

Almost certainly them. Nearly all the tour groups have had some decent reports but never these guys.

Upon a recent trip to Hanoi i did all my accomadation booking through "hotels in vietnam.com" & upon arriving found them to be a group of con artists who are happy to take your money but deliver NOTHING

I went with TM Brothers on a bus trip from HCMC to Nha Trang and also a Mama Hahn boat trip with them and had no problems whatsoever with them on these two occasions.

Who reccomended that website for booking hotels? I have never heard of it, and many people here mention many legit websited to book hotels, so not sure why your bitching about a obscure operation and giving little details as well. I saw your earlier post regarding this Website, but again, where did you find it?
In reference to the GH that kicks you out for not booking their tours, and the hotels are run down shitholes, what do you expect for $8 nights...you get what you pay for....
