Their portions are smallish compared to other 'local' Saigon 'quan pho'. But, like Subway or other franchise back here in the States, you know what you're in for when you go in. And since I'm 6'4" and 230lbs, I feel more comfortable on a chair than on one of those half-height plastic stools.
I look forward to their arrival in Texas. If they can match the flavor they offer in Saigon, it'll be a great leap forward. Anyway, I say good on 'em. They're a lot better than McD's or KFC.

I like the one on Hang Khay by Ho Hoan Kiem (Sword Lake). A bowl of pho costs 26,000 dong and their drinks/smoothies about 19,000 dong.
It's pricey relative to other pho places in Hanoi, for sure. However, you're also paying for good hygiene, good service, and convenience.

It's the only Saigon style Pho in Hanoi, Sure sitting on the street and having a traditional Hanoi pho is good, but only condiments are Tuong ot, and MSG. Pho 24 is good don't be such cheap skates

Although I have had better pho at streetcorner shops, I have to admit we had lunch at Pho 24 a few times in Saigon, since it IS nice that the restaurants are airconditioned and have proper seets and all. I know it's not an 'authentic' experience, but the pho was still very good and the surroundings clean & comfortable, and hey, I'm on holiday and $2 is still very cheap for a good lunch in my book.
We didn't find any good pho in Hoi An, since we do prefer the southern style pho with al the condiments, and they didn't seem to have that there.
