Traveling by yourself and taking a tour have their own advantages. But if you want to travel slowly and gradually enjoy, it is the best to travel by yourself. For Halong travel, hotel rental should be carefully considered. You are advised not to come here on weekends because the number of tourists is very large and all kinds of prices, especially hotels may be significantly increased. Coming to Mekong Delta, you should use the homestay so that the host will support you while visiting destinations here.

My home is in Tan Binh village, Cai Lay Town, Tien Giang province (in the countryside of Mekong delta), about 2 hours by bus from Ho Chi Minh City. When you get there, you can visit the orchard, rice field, bonsai garden and discover life of local people in Mekong delta (if you don't have much time, you can do 1 day trip, go and back to HCMC in the same day). If you have more time (2 days / 1 night), you can go fishing, walk around the village :)
Would you like to visit my village?
Have a nice day
