What's up guys and girls?

I will be in Nha Trang, coming from Hue in August and wanted to plan out my next destination after Nha Trang. I was thinking of checking out Dalat but know that there isn't a train that does this route. What's the best and most convenient way to get from Nha Trang to Dalat. I'm mostly inquiring about time and cost, since we don't have a lot of money and are tight on time. After Dalat, I was going to head down to Saigon. Again, what's the best and most convenient way to get from Dalat to Saigon. Thanks in advance TTers!

Thanks Johnlca! Do you know how long it takes from Dalat to Saigon? Also, is there a schedule of days and times these buses run? Thanks again!

While you are in Dalat, you should take the bus from Phuong Trang company. Their offices are also on De Tham st, district 1, Saigon. It leaves in every single hour - day and night. If you travel at night. It would take you around 6 hours and take you 8 hours if you travel in the day time.
Good luck and safe travels

I agree, it was a good company. I used them last year, but when I asked the lady at Dreams Hotel to get me a ticket with them to go to Nha Trang in March of this year, she told me that Dalatoserco had gone bankrupt and was out of business.
Capitalism sometimes has losers as well as winners.

The new Nha Trang-Dalat road via Khanh Vinh and Deo Tien Duong [Paradise Pass] is now open for business. Travel time is only 3 hours by motorbike. I do not know if buses have started to use this route yet, but it would be worthwhile checking.

The trip between Dalat and Nha Trang is quite pleasant (I used the Sinh cafe bus) and you can fly from Dalat for about $30 (cheaper if you buy ahead) and it takes about an hour. You can get to the airport in the Vietnam airlines minibus for about $2.

Just to clarify: It appears from VN Airlines site the it is still impossible to fly from Nha Trang to Dalat. You can, however, fly from Dalat to Saigon.

I would fly from Dalat to HCMC. $27 and 40 minutes vs. 6 hours in a bus.
