So you left the hotel because it didn't have hot water and changed to another hotel that didn't have hot water?? Did you get a refund at the first hotel? Or did you just pay for 2 rooms that didn't have hot water?

Another option, " excuse me , the hot water isnt working" " There isnt any hot water" "Someone told me that there was" " But there isnt,...ill wake him up " "No forget , ill check out and look for somewhere else" "Bye!"..."Bye!".No shouting ,no argument, no staff member dragged out of bed, "look at me and tell me "(good grief !). No need to post pointless whinge on the Thorn Tree.

Okay, so maybe the OP had a bad time of it. He admits that he had only two bad experiences in eight months of travel in Asia.
So, why is his first ever contribution such a whinge. I am sure that most here on TT would have liked to have heard of the rest of his visit.

Tell us what went well, too? What were the memories, sights, sound, smells, food views, wildlife, architecture, etc.
That way people would be more sympathetic to any future or combined post of a more negative nature .

But to bother to post a long stupid story about a hotel in a developing country that didn't have hot water, and then try to claim the hotel was operating some sort of scam, well that's just ridiculous and pathetic. Some people have absolutely no concept what the rigours of travel really are.

3000 words on him and his mate drinking Tea? Starting with the fact that he sat to the left of his friend, who left after a cup, leaving him to explaine to the person serving the Tea, in deapth, as to why he and his friend liked younger Tea's, who also left. Strange?

If i was drinking tea with him I would put poison in it.

Actualy, I would swap the tea cup's and drink it for the shame of allowing myself to be with him.

I am ashamed to say that he it a bottom bandit, but even the most proactive, progay rights person would distance themselves from someone who:-

A, List the 'Weather Girls' - 'Its Rain Men', as there top tune (nothin wrong with the song, its just there are better versions - Jue Pauls, for example)
B, Someone who is a member of No Problem - but this person in this club??
C, His negative outlook on life. His own words on his blog:-

P.S. Although ashamed he is a 'rectum ranger',and as such gets 'Gay Mafia' status, there is a possitive side, that is,1, i will never be drunk enough to sleep with it, and 2, he wont bread and as such his gene line ends with him.

Meaning, that no one else will be put through the risk of sleeping with its off spring in any furture genaration.

So you had to kill a few bugs and you didnt get hot water?? what a pansy. Sorry but hot water showers are not all that common in budget places and mosquitoes are just a fact of life.

I'd be pissed off if I was promised hot water and did not have it; but it is only the OP's statement that he wasn't told about it. What if the staff did actually tell him?
