Hey everyone,

So I literally just landed in Saigon (it's 11:00pm) and am looking to head to the floating markets tomorrow morning. Any suggestions on how to approach that area? Should I sign up for a tour in Saigon or head to Can Tho and sign up for a tour there? Or should I do it myself? If I'm heading to Can Tho, when is the earliest bus and where can I purchase tickets and grab the bus from?

Also what other areas should I try to see while down there? I'm looking to spend 2 days 1 night. I know it's too late to sign up for a tour that leaves Saigon tomorrow so if I did it from Saigon, then I'd only be able to do a day tour. I also have a hostel booked for tomorrow but don't mind cancelling it if need be. Any suggestions are helpful.

Easier to take an all-inclusive group excursion if you do not continue on teh delta after; TWO days are better !

From HCMC to Mekong Delta, you can transfer by bus very easy. Further, if you want to enjoy and explore the real Mekong Delta, you should homestay at local people and join floating market in the early morning. But local people can not speak English, so you should check out before traveling
