Yes, he made another stupid comment on another old Post about the honesty of the Vietnamese.
This suggests he is a multiple poster trying to troll.
Best ignored from now?

Although I wouldn't piss to put out a fire on Thich Quang Duc, I do really enjoy Viet Nam as a country.

Does anyone know what they'll be paying? Sounds like it won't be too far from my house. I was going to get my wife to work at a Vietnamese restaurant so she'd learn how to cook better, but she says she'd like to work at a place with aircon. Her family is leeching me like crazy so I told her if she wants to give them more money she can get a job.

Vietnamese don't want Americans in their country? What a pathetic troll from the serial troll, though it is undoubtedly true to say they don't want some Americans (or Aussies, or...)
Re McDs, there are 3 immutable certainties: birth, death, and McDonalds & Starbucks in your favorite tourist destinations.
Funny how McDs always stirs up the predictable anti response, but nobody mentions the wall-to-wall western brands now dominating Dong Khoi.
Vietnamese don't want Americans in their country?
What a ignorant statement. They probably would prefer Americans over Chinese. They have little respect for them and their crap they sell. Ask any Vietnamese what moto is the best, and Honda and Japan will be the first 2 words out their mouth.
I found the Vietnamese extremely friendly, to foreigners, whether I treated better or worse because I was a American I have no idea, as it was all great.
Vietnam is changing, and mostly for the better, its growing as a country, a culture, a economy, and its standard of living is increasing every day for 1000's if not million of Vietnamese. Its a great time to see the country, I can not wait to return, just to see the progress.

Yes, but they ALL brought Chengchuan, because the Chinese product may be not up to quality as the Japanese one but they are dirt cheap 1/5 of the normal Japanese cost. Now only the very old Honda is from Japan, all the new one on the street now is ether from China, Thailand or domestic products.

I haven't been to this website in a long time. It's April and I don't know of any McDonald's here in Saigon yet. It's been almost 18 months since I have been here in Vietnam. So I feel that I can make some comments about the threads here:
- Vietnamese don't hate Americans.
- The most popular auto makes are Ford and Chevrolet. Daewoo is a close third. 99% of the Vietnamese use personal motorcycles for transportation.
- There is a Gloria Jean's at one of the city's two BMW dealerships. No one goes there to buy cars, just drink coffee and use the free WiFi.
- The Vietnamese coffee sold in most restaurants isn't the pure coffee you get at the dollar stores in America.
- While Lotteria originated in Japan, the menu here in Vietnam is based on what is served in Korea. Hamburger wrappers have Korean written on them.
- We also have Jollibee, a popular hamburger chain from the Philippines, not known for their fast service.
- Texas Bar BQ has changed locations.
- Pizza Inn (a Texas chain) has more locations than Pizza Hut.
- The average Vietnamese earns the equivalent of $120 a month.
- Expatriates (foreigners) don't get the royal treatment here they get in other Southeastern Asian countries. I am now teaching at a university and earn the same as a local professor.

No meat fast food restaurants in Vietnam, please. It's unsanitary and cruel. Plus being travelers, we can't afford to get sick. Stick to the basics: organic fruits and vegetables, you know where your food is coming from. Lots of gardens with sweet and exotic fruits in Vietnam. Hang a hammock and you can relax in the breeze and open air! Happy traveling! Vietnam is truly beautiful. Don't spoil it with more meat!
I love a good Pho Bo in a unsanitary street eat! Thinnly sliced raw beef cooked with some hot broth! A chunk of liver and some other offel! and you have yourself a soup!
Boiled chicken feet, with a nice dipping source go down well too!
A lamb donner kabab in salad baguette with a iced sugar cane drink!
