reminds me of a doco i saw about the first McD's in Soviet Russia. they had hundreds job of applications to wade through and people were lining up in the freezing cold to have their first taste. look how popular it is in China, who knows how well it will catch on in Vietnam.

at least it means more jobs.(?)

In Airleybeach North Queensland. The local council Banned the golden arches displaying a street sign, the big Mac took them to the high court, commen sense won! A man and his castle!

Maybe McDs in VN will be diff... probably they will set up stools by the roadside, selling McPho too...

Also heard rumors the golden star in the Vietnamese flag is replaced by a golden M...

I don't have a problem with McDonald's coming to Vietnam. Their food is horrible, but they're easy enough to avoid. I love how some people are so convinced that they're the only ones with free will and that everyone else will be led into McDonald's like sheep.

I just hope Burger King is next.

I think the US should open a Recruits center in VN for their Marines.

I tell you its far better sending Mc whatever to the world than guns.
