You were! you were definitely making a general statement that was very racist and extremely rude - and it also happens to be untrue!
People here did not react to your negative experiences (we didn't know what they were in your OP) they reacted to your sweeping negative comments!

Oh, my God! I'm SO sorry that I doubted you!! I now see why you think "Vietnamese" are dishonest!! Motorbike drivers!! Hoi An tailors!! Jesus, I can't imagine how you survived!!! And with an incomplete series of hepatitis shots on top of it!
Tam99-
You have to be firm with the tailors. BUT you might've gotten one that was just out to scam you. I had good luck both in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh and had numerous lovely items made. My friend and I had to go back 2-3 times at each place to get a decent fit. The staff was saying "Oh, it looks great!" but it didn't, and we insisted on another fitting until they got it right. (I've had experience with tailors all over the world and know that it ain't over till you, the customer, is satisfied!) I think people need to do the research before they leave home to get proper information to avoid being scammed. We hear about this all the time here.

mrmookie,
the latest research has shown that two hep A shots are sufficient to build up an immunity
which lasts over decades; only when you enter senior age you may need a third shot;
do your internet research better or ask a knowledgable microbiologist when you don't
know how to interpret scientific reports!

Tam we have just had the Hepatitis series of injections - called 'Twinrix' we had three doses 0, 1 and 6 months apart. (last dose 2 weeks ago!)
Nothin' s gonna last decades, but I've gone for my first 2 hep A & B shots and will have my final shot in September. Hear the whole series is good for at least 5 years.
tam99, I see how you got yourself into the imagined trouble you had in Vietnam. You're now engaged in an argument about vaccinations. Add LOL to the English "words" you don't know.
Hi Tam - A troll is someone who writes a post for no other purpose than to inflame and provoke reaction and then sits back to watch the sparks fly. I guess they're the vandals of chat forums.
I don't think anyone was offended by your experiences - because you didn't describe any in your OP. In fact I think it was the lack of explanation or apparent purpose other than to criticise that made your OP indistinguishable from a troll posting which is why you got the reaction you did. What sort of reaction were you expecting?
