I am working in vietnam for all of june and want to fly to bkk from hcmc on july 4th and return on 21st july to connect with a flight to dublin.
I cant seem to be able to book this online with lufthansa/bangkok air.
Would i chance leaving it and bookin it when i get to hcmc in early june?
i could book it in hcmc in a travel agent when i get there ,there were loads all round that backpacker area when i was there last yr.
Is this a good idea?
I need to leave and come back on those exact dates tho.... any ideas? thank you

Pacific airlines have recently become a low cost airline and have saigon-bkk return for approx $200 bookable on line.
I looked and they have no flights on the 4th July to Bkk but they have the return on the 24th.
You could do Saigon to hanoi with pacific for $80 then hanoi to bkk with air asia for $63 on the 4th.
We did Thai 1 way bkk to saigon during Tet and it cost $216 1 way!!!
