g'day
any tips on mid-range tours of halong bay[2 to 3 nights[including cat ba island]
and mekong delta tours[2 to 3 nights]
also any tips on mid-range hotels in hanoi,hue,hoi an,da nang and saigon[hcmc]

I stayed last week at the Hanoi Guesthouse in the Old Quarter. A very enjoyable stay there, the rooms are clean, plenty of hot water, free internet and friendly staff. They have a sister hotel the Golden Sun which is more expensive. they organize tours thru APT Tours wich they own 25%, there day tours where cheaper than going directly thru APT and they dont push the tours down your throat. http://hanoiguesthouse.com

Ha Long bay tours: find post #98 in FAQ Vietnam linked at my signature, there is a list of travel agents recommended by TTers.

Mekong Delta: I did the trip with Sinh cafe on De Tham st in Sai Gon. Website of that agent I linked in original post of FAQ Vietnam.
