ok have been reading reviews everywhere today and I've found another one I want to ask about.
However I can't seem to find the contact details for this one either. It's a villa, apparently owned by the government that has quiet rooms and suites rented out but doesn't have to advertise. It's in District one and it looks really nice. I saw it reviewed on Virtual Tourist.
Anyone???

PS I'm after quiet, reasonably priced accomodation in Saigon that either has a lift or minimal stairs.

I have stayed there a few times over the years.
It is in a compound just up from the roundabout above the cathedral. Pretty quiet (for Saigon).
Outer gate is locked at nights, but gatekeeper will let you in and out. Nice safe place for kids who can play around the hotel. Rooms & facilities are fine. Friendly staff, but don't expect them to help you with organizing tours (nor will they push tours at you). Breakfast is OK, but the restaurant could do with a good airing.
I ought to have a card for them in one of my diaries, but can't find it so far... Will post here if I can lay my hands on it.
