Is it possible to get flight to danang from hanoi in april on 2 days notice, if you go straight to the counter in the airport.
I tried to book it through hong kong(vietnam airlines) in february but they wanted to charge me 120usd for a one way flight.

I'm not sure if Pacific Airlines still flies on this route or not since they became a budget airlines, but if they do, you will have a second choice along with Vietnam Airlines. If you buy this ticket in Vietnam, only VND 830,000 for one way flight Hanoi - Da Nang (about US$52-53), much cheaper than you book on line overseas. Train will take about 14 hours (overnight train). Alternatively, you can fly to Hue then take a bus to Da Nang if your flight to DN is full.

If the price is a quoted above then they have come down by more than 20% since early 2006.
