I'm going to Vietnam in June and was wanting to do a cycling tour of the Mekong Delta. Most of the companies I've come across organise trips for groups of people - they won't accept a booking for a lone cyclist - or if they do, they'll charge heaps.
Does anyone know of any companies that run scheduled bike tours? Or is there anyone out there like me who's after a tour but is travelling alone?

SinhBalo is great for more mid-range type tours. Check here. Otherwise you can arrange your own trips -- for a lot less. When I took an organized bike tour, much of the riding was at the island opposite Vinh Long, then on country roads southeast of Vinh Long. You could rent a bike for a few dollars in Vinh Long, and perhaps an English-speaking guide (for about $5). Some agency information in Vinh Long is here.
