Bus from Hanoi to Sapa

You can book through travel agents to take sleeper bus from Hanoi to Sapa. If you want to book online, you can book via Vexere platform. Another way is taking the Sapa Express Bus, Hanoi - Sapa - Hanoi departs at 7:00 and go through via Hanoi - Lao Cai highway. It takes approximately 6 hours to drive from Hanoi to Sapa.

You can try inter bus lines, a new bus on this highway with quite good service.

The very best are the day buses SapaExpress going DIRECTLY to Sapa in 5 hours on the new superhighway instead of 10 grueling and dangerous hours on National 70. Departs from Hanoi around 7h30 (not 7h !), return to Hanoi around 15h30, which is perfect since the trekkings stop around 15h

I would recommend SapaExpress, and one far more expensive is Victoria resort coach (around 900,000vnd)

I liked those standard buses from Sapa to Hanoi that leave from bus station (yellow color). No hassle and they drop you off on the main road just east of the old quarter. Reasonable price.

I am agree. I was reading about this and see a comment that they have the most safest buses. Important to take in mind because the road to SaPa it's not the easiest or the safiest one in Vietnam.
