I hail from the United States and wanted to know if I needed to bring either adapters or a converter. Can someone shed some light for me? Many Thanks!

And I will be solely traveling in Vietnam, FYI.

Yes you will need a converter and and adapter to recharge or use U.S. electrical equipment. Walmart has it in their suitcase department. Radio Shack has it also; but more expensive. With hair dryers or small electrical items we buy local so we don't have to use an adapter, small electric items are cheap. Cheers and have a good time. Flightmedicine.

Depends on what you bring. Cameras etc...probably not since they are preset to receive 110-240V. Check it out. You'll need a plug though...one dollar in the ...surprise ....one dollar store. For a complete overview on plugs etc....www.kropla.com

Read the fine print on the recharger.
Invariably they say 110-220V
