This is certainly not a professional journal .... just relaying some of my experiences. Lousy grammar - my tenses can be mixed up - and so on :) However, I received so VERY much help on reading this forum before I left - that I would think there certainly must be other 'newbies' who would find bits and pieces in my journal, which will provide an even better vacation in Vietnam.
PART ONE
This past February and March, we flew to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) - travelled up to Ha Noi – crossed the border into southern China for a quick look about - then travelled back down to Saigon, spending two months overall. Hubby (H) is 72 and I am 63, and this is the first time in many years, that we did not use backpacks, but a wheeled bag and small day pack. As per my other journals, this is to hopefully help those who may wish to travel there in future
