Phu Quoc in June???

I was really hoping to get to Phu Quoc Island in June when my girlfriend comes to Vietnam for a visit. Has anyone visited there around that time of the year, and if so is it still enjoyable? I understand it's pretty much the wettest part of the country and plenty of rain is guaranteed, but if there's a few hours of sunshine each day then I think that would be ok. We wouldn't really mind spending most of the day indoors, as long as we can get out for a bit.
