NYE - Mui Ne v. somewhere else in Phan Thiet

Hi everyone,

My itinerary is gradually coming together for my trip in Dec/Jan.

It looks like Phan Thiet will work well for me to spend a few days in over New Year's Eve. I was hoping for some recommendations on where best to be based? I'd like somewhere with bars and a bit of a lively atmosphere but not worried about clubbing. I'll almost definitely look to be in a hostel so will probably rely on that to meet a few people to have a beer with.

From what I've read it looks as though there's a few areas in Phan Thiet - which do you think would be best at this time for me please?
