Loas visa extension

I understand that a visa upon arrival in Loas will only grant a Canadian such as myself a 2 week visa. However, my length of stay will be

3 weeks. Can I get my 2 week visa extended and if this is the case where do I go to do this, who do I talk to upon arrival, etc, etc.

You will get a 30-day visa on arrival. It used to be 15 days but that changed last year. Bring US dollars to pay the visa fee.

As #1 said, you get a 30 day visa. Unfortunately Laos determines the cost of the visa by where your passport is from. Most countries get charged $35US, but Canadians get charged $42US. There is no logical reason for it, just that they want the most money (the most expensive visa charge), from Canadians.
