Hi Ben
Yes, its feasible, but partly a bit rushed (at least for me). Siem Reap - Phnom Phen - Saigon - Danang/Hoi An are 3 long overland journeys, with only 1 night in PP and 1 night in SGN in between. I would consider flying from Siem Reap to Saigon (or even to Danang), to have 1-3 overland journeys less, and more time in other places. Cambodia Angkor Air flies to both SGN and DAD for around USD 190.

I had bad expereince of travelling by bus from Shihanoukville to SR some years ago, but good one with flight from SR to PP then, around 100USD, just take a look at Angkor air web yesterday for next month trip, super cheap! You should check it now, no need to take bus! Also if you want to save time and energy, you can think about flying from PP to HCM, not too expensive.
Travelling by sleeper train in VN is good, of course more expensive than bus but more comfortable too.
From Danang to Hue, strongly recommend taking a morning train as well to go over Hai Van pass (great view of Lang Co bay)
For Halong Bay, you are advised to book in advance via agencies to have better price, don't wait until you get to Halong.

yes doable. There are elements that seem a bit rushed and perhaps hoping on a plane from Siem Reap to HCM might be an option as above

Its possible as above...too rushed for me though.

If there is nothing you want to do in PP,no reason to go there...fly direct from SR to HCM.

You could add the extra days on to Bangkok (loads to see and do there)and/or HCM (less interesting than Bangkok IMHO).

I'm going to go against the tide here with a different opinion. Apart from just using Danang as a point to get off the train, I'd skip it after that. Other than that, its not like you are sleeping in a different bed every night. A day in PP will give you more than enough time to visit S21 and the Killing Fields there plus a market or two.
