hotel recommendation in Vientiane

Can you recommend a good centrally located hotel within the $30 to $40 range in Vientiane?

Vientiane is not very spectacular and not very big. Most guesthouses are quite central and a taxi/tuktuk is very cheap.

I stayed in Mixay guesthouse. A double room with private bathroom is 10 dollar. Just google for guesthouses and you'll find a lot of cheap places.

Las april, I stayed in the gh ...... the price was around 25 $ double room and breakfast ...
The hotel is very decent, very central and the staff is very nice .....

I stayed at the New Lao Paris Hotel
Address: Unit 118, Sieng ngeun Village, Chanthavouly District
Area / City / Country: Vientiane City Center/Vientiane/Laos.
It was less than 25 US dollars a night, include breakfast and was quite fine. It is centrally located ona main street. It is quite, has a TV and decent bathroom and comfortable bed.

Do you know any guesthouses in the area of the Souphaphone guesthouse? I dont want to stay at the Souphaphone as Im reading on tripadvisor about the rude staff.
