What makes you think that? There is a lot of publicity given to the problem in Cambodia, but I don't think there are as many as there are made out to be, if there are I certainly haven't noticed it. Besides, the guy has been identified as living in Europe.

Interpol have identified him as a teacher living in Thailand.

He was living in Korea till he got wind of the hunt for him, then he fled to Thailand.

They should catch him and all the others as well.

"a disaster" is pretty hysterical. The disaster is they way the so many kids here (Vietnam...if not all SEA) are raised to be greedy, manipulative, selfish and condescending. Bad parenting is scarring these kids for life.

#17 I was being sarcastic. Is it so bad to feel repulsed at the actions of a paedophile. Some who use these forums wait like salivating dogs to spew their vitriol at any given opportunity. "Sanctimony" is an interesting choice of word MrMookie. Your compassion towards the downtrodden in SEA is well documented, mainly by yourself it has to be said, your compassion towards your fellow ex-pat less so. I think you will find most people have good intentions but it doesn't matter what they say or do, you will find a way to villify them.

I regretted my post as soon as I had made it, it was a poor rebuke. I'm sorry I got involved in this, I hope not to end up in the pit you're in.
