We are crossing the Friendship Bridge between Laos and Thailand in late March. We will arrive in Thailand at about 6pm and need to find out if there is a bus that goes from close to the border to Chiang Mai at that time in the evening. There are lots of posts about travelling the other way, but I can't find anything on this. Does anyone know if we can just rock up at the bus station and get a bus to Chiang Mai at 6ish, or do we need to book a taxi to meet us? Thanks.
