$$$ for Dong @ gold shops in VN ??

Just wondering if changing $$$ for Dong @ those gold shops is really no longer possible or you can still do it elsewhere in VN except Can Tho province???

Hey Stdtourist!
It's still prevalent to exchange your money at gold shop at some location. If your in Hanoi, there is a shop on the second floor at 67 Hang Bac called Kim Linh. You'll get the same exchange rate as you would if you went to the bank but its just alot quicker if you go to the gold shop.

I often change U$D ($100 notes) at the gold shops near Ben Thanh Market. I get a rate just a little better than the bank and the transaction takes about 2 minutes.
