Hi,
getting conflicting reports from people. Is it possible to get a visa on arrival at the cambodian border coming south from Paxse in southern laos near the 4thousand islands? Has somebody done this recently who can advise me?

Yes you can get Cambodian visa on arrival but not a Lao one going the other way.
