It’s an arm and a leg for vaccines in the states. If someone could share their experience getting them done in country that’d be cool.

which vaccines? because some require more than one dose to be effective and there may be issues about compatibility

Are you looking that they cover you during your trip because then the obvious answer is where you arrive

My experience of having them abroad is limited but very similar to the UK but just check needle is new, vaccine is not out of date and has been properly stored

I was planning on landing in Singapore and get anything that could be done in a single dose there then go to Sri Lanka. I want to get rabies and JI but I know that takes a month. Anyplace in SE Asia is fine.

I inquired about a Hep B vaccine once from a well known Thai hospital Bumrungrad, and their price was similar to the price I paid in Europe. That vaccine is made by a major drug company so most of the price goes to the drug company and not the doctor. Poor countries like Cambodia at most will have one or two Western doctors who practice tropical medicine, and you can find these online. Forget local clinics in these poor countries, I would not trust them and they are not prepared to deal with foreigners. Singapore is not a cheap country. Also there, Google tropical health clinics and e-mail them.
