Mid october, there were no balloons, as there were no tourists. The centre running this is indeed located on the road between Nyaung U and Old Bagan. | 2 | |
A tad expensive, and I'm sure a little money flows back to the bad guys, but I wouldn't say it's in bad taste. As a notorious cheakskate, and a known avoider of the pleasures ephemeral, I haven't done it, but it sounds like a fun thing to do. | 3 | |
