Again, female westerners getting haircuts in SE Asia are rolling the dice...
From the Thailand Branch!
I really need some hairdressing advice... i had my hair chemically straightened in Bankok's Toni & Guy... i did what they told me & didn't wash it for 3 days, but when i did wash it on the 4th day, my hair had turned into a frizzy mess. I'm in Laos & won't be getting bk to Bankok for another 6 days... And cannot even find any coconut or olive oil to calm my hair down. Can any hairdressers tell me what went wrong & what shld be the nxt procedure to fix my hair? I'm scared that if i go bk to Toni & Guy & they re-do the whole procedure just to shut me up, my hair will be a frazzled mess.... I just need to know what should happen nxt to correct my hair before i go back to the hairdressers. Any advice would be really appreciated.

Why not? Even if it's a woman - she should just shave her head!!! The world won't end and maybe she finds a whole new look...

I'm not a hairdresser, but I'd look into getting my hair braided and then get things taken care of again in a western country. I've lived in Asia for four years and have suffered from many hair does, dyes and numerous hair don'ts. Unless you are just going in for a cut, I would avoid getting any form of chemical treatments done on your hair until you are in the hands of someone who knows about Caucasian hair.
