Were two seniors planning on spending 9 or 10 days or so in Myanmar. We will be arriving from Chiang Mai and departing to Colombo, Sri Lanka. We like slow travel (less places, more days each place). Were thinking the logical sequence is Yangon, Inle Lake, Bagan and spending 3 days in each location.
Does this sequence make sense?

I'll be in Bagan this coming Tuesday and will have 2 mornings and 2 evenings to photograph the sunrise and sunset. I have seen the sweeping classical views of a huge pagoda (or many pagodas), balloons and the sunrise. Would anyone know from which Pagodas those views are taken? I understand that you can just climb any pagoda to get a view, but it will be ideal to know from which pagodas to get the most optimal views.

We will be in Mandalay and Inle Lake for a three weeks in Feb 2016. Can anybody recommend the best area in each place to stay. Also any recommendations regarding best places to stay would be handy. We would love to be able to explore off the beaten track and away from the crowds if possible.

Boat price 42usd, trip time 10 hours ( heavy fog delay). Leaving at 7am. MGRGEXPRESS was the boat company.
The price for the cruise was the same purchasing from my hotel or at their branch in Mandalay.
Pros: more confortable and relaxed than mini bus, breakfast and lunch served.
Cons: costs more, longer trip, pick up at ur hotel and drop off not included.

Having being in India and Nepal for nearly 45 days I have contacted Seven Diamond Agency in Myanmar far before I started my trip. They advised they do permits with relevant documents and 100 USD fee. So I contacted and supplied my documents 12 days ago. Unfortunately they only today replied that it would only be possible with a guide along me not advising conditions of that.
