Trying to calculate how much money we should bring for our family to spend about three weeks in Burma.
We have booked all domestic flights, and in and out of Bangkok as well, do we have to pay extra taxes when we fly? Both domestic and international? Same price for children?
I also wonder if they charge the children the same price as adults for example entrance fees, other charges or taxes, transportation etc. In Laos and Cambodia we paid the same price for transportation and taxes, but entrance was free at museums and such, and at for example elephant riding children paid less, is it the same in Burma?

Thanks!!

there is an AIRport tax of 10 US$ CASH only p.pl on exit, I think for domestic flights its in the ticket, Dont know from what age for children.
If its a state run thing you always pay Do-lah for entry and it will be set. even then bargaining (for the kids) may work/ or not, youll have to accept that Myanm=Burma is sosjalist, but not SE-style with all pre-set. and does in SE anything works the same as in NO or FI? even the same cans/bottles from there the ICA wont take! ditto for countries in Asia. And in SE barn is most till 16, now IF there is any discount its only till 8 or 10 only, and also to 1 mtr. high only.
As youve prebooked etc it seems tyou are not on lowbudget. simply read that guidebook for how much hHTL/meals etc. cost, count in US$ (kyat price will have gone up, US-price stays moreorless same). I think for bus you pay per seat (small children can share 1) but most likely you have enough kroner to pay for a taxi/per day.
